My Novel (s)

terminal

Think ‘Catch Me If You Can’ but with two middle-aged British idiots abroad, Terminal is the hilarious jet-setting adventure of dying accountant Robert Davison’s madcap plan to squeeze every drop of life from the lemons he’s got left. Along the way, Robert, and his companion, Brian, find love and laughter on the lam as well as a whole lot of accounting to do that’s anything but by-the-numbers.

Drive the Dream

Terry Harper had done his dash and was on the last leg of an uneventful teaching

career, describing himself as a ‘steady plodder’. What inspired him more than

pumping Geography into his largely unappreciative students, was his dream, his

baby. Discovered by accident towards the end of a failed marriage, the wreck of a

classic British sports car had been Terry’s project. For years he looked at the

original press ad of the car pinned to the wall of his garage and imagined himself

driving the same road with a pretty blonde next to him. Spurred on by his best

friend, some loyal colleagues and a retired soldier, Terry was in a race to finish

the restoration before he retired. Little did he know that a meeting of the

school’s senior leadership team would send him on a very different adventure, a

journey of love, deception and one that makes him question the very foundations of

the dream.
